The SDB-800 combines all of the great features of the SPA-400 / 600 intercom series into a dual audio panel environment. This allows the pilot and copilot to operate separate radio systems independently and have the convenience of voice activated intercabin communication simultaneously. Compact and Lightweight The SDB-800 system consists of two modified SPA-400 units with their own operating controls and radio interface. An interconnect line allows communication between the two units while keeping VHF audio systems separate. Reversible face plates are included for either vertical or horizontal mounting, circular mounting plates are also available. All hardware needed for installation, including jack kit and a pre-wired harness, is included. Each unit is only 4” x 2.5” x 1” in size and weighs 4.5 oz. for the chassis, and 5.5 oz. with jacks and wiring.
